The Hong Kong observatory has just announced that Toraji will further edge closer to the Pearl River Estuary which will affect Hong Kong overnight and tomorrow at first. The observatory will issue the Gale or Storm signal no. 8 at 23:10 tonight (13.11.2024) and it will remain in force at least until 10:00 tomorrow (14.11.2024) morning. Terminals and warehouses in Hong Kong will cease operations. For safety reasons, all staff in our Hong Kong office will temporarily work from home (WFH) tomorrow until the typhoon signal no. 8 is removed. We will strive to minimize the impact to our customers as well as to ensure all works will be carried out properly.
UPDATE NOTICE Our Hong Kong office resumed normal operations at 10:20 on 14.11.2024 just after the Hong Kong Observatory cancelled the typhoon signal no. 8.
